Names are not usually obtruded; but the Articles which may appear in The Anglo-Saron will not necessarily be anonymous. It is fully expected that Contributions will be received from Foreigners, Travellers, Philanthropists, and eminent individuals, whose Names and Lives may give a double interest to a Narrative, an Inquiry, a Treatise, or a Proposal. In some cases the shield of secrecy may further impartial investigation; in others, its removal may reveal the individual who alone, or above all others, was competent to give authentic information or trustworthy opinions.

For a sample of subjects, illustrations, and general appearance, the three Numbers already published may be allowed to speak for themselves. "Excelsior,"-a truer aim, a higher mark, a better issue-this is The Anglo-Sarau motto always. As "Non Angli, sed Angeli," we have a great errand; to be ministers of good, and heralds of peace all the world over and with God's help we will attempt at least to do it. If we have succeeded in a little measure hitherto, at all events we will try to make that measure more on every next occasion.

In October, the first volume will be completed by the publication of Number IV., and will be ready for delivery in an appropriate Binding.

The Subscription is ONE GUINEA ayar.
