O Thou who didst with love unfold
O that the Lord's salvation
O Thou from whom all goodness flows..
O'twas a joyful sound to hear
Our God is love, and all His Saints.
Saviour when in dust to Thee
Take up thy cross, the Saviour said
The life which God's Incarnate Word..
The heavens declare Thy glory, Lord
The Lord will come, the earth shall quake..
The people that in darkness sat
The roseate hues of early dawn
The sacred season now doth call
The saints on earth and those above
There is a book who runs may read..
There is a land of pure delight
They come God's messengers of love
This day the light of heavenly birth..
Thou art gone up on high
Thou art gone to the grave, but we will not
We sing the praise of Him who died
When God of old came down from heaven
While shepherds watched their flock by night
Witness ye men and angels now
Ye boundless realms of joy
AWAKE, my soul, and with the sun
I wake, I wake; ye heavenly choir,
May I, like you, in God delight,
Had I your wings, to heaven I'd fly;
Glory to Thee, who safe hast kept,
Heaven is, dear Lord, where'er Thou art;
But for one moment void of Thee.
Lord! I my vows to Thee renew,
Guard my first springs of thought and will,
Direct, control, suggest this day,
That all my powers with all their might
ln Thy sole glory may unite.
Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
NEw every morning is the love
The trivial round, the common task,
6 of 7.
CHRIST, Whose glory fills the skies,
Triumph o'er the shades of night:
