Wayne County:

Greenfield Creamery. Gerrard Bros., Detroit, Mich., proprietors. Milk received from dairies in Wayne county. Retail trade is supplied from nine wagons, and from salesroom in creamery. Buildings, new and in sanitary condition; delivery wagons and utensils are kept clean and neat.

Towar's Wayne County Creamery (Incorporated), Detroit, Mich. G. W. Towar, president; T. J. Towar, secretary and treasurer. Milk supplied from creameries and receiving stations. Have a large retail trade, running about thirty delivery wagons to supply customers; all milk pasteurized. Outfit includes a large refrigerating plant. Building, outfit and wagons are kept clean and in sanitary condition.

Detroit Creamery Co. (Incorporated). A. Easter, general manager. Milk supplied from creameries and receiving stations. Have large retail trade, requiring the use of about 50 wagons to supply customers. Buildings, wagons and utensils are kept clean and in sanitary condition.

C. Cunbring, retailer, Detroit, Mich. Receives milk supply from Royal Oak; retails 30 gallons per day. Milk house, utensils and wagon kept neat and clean.

Clover Milk Co. R. C. Scholtz & Co., Detroit, Mich., proprietors. Milk supplied from dairies in vicinity of Birmingham. Retail trade is supplied from seventeen delivery wagons. Buildings in fair sanitary condition. Wagons and utensils neat and clean.

P. H. Childs Milk Depot, Detroit, Mich. Milk supply received from Macomb county. Buildings, wagons and utensils in very good condition.

P. Becker's Milk Depot, Detroit, Mich. Milk supply received from Oakland county; sells at wholesale 550 gallons per day. Buildings, poor, small and dirty. Milk cooled in basement. Surroundings, unclean and in poor sanitary condition.

Chas. Fick & Son Milk Depot, Detroit, Mich. Milk supply received

from Macomb county. Retail trade supplied from five wagons. Buildings, good and fairly clean; wagons, kept clean and neat; utensils, clean.

Wm. Brier's Milk Depot, Detroit, Mich. Milk received from Wayne county farmers. Retails 300 gallons per day. Buildings, utensils, wagons, etc., kept clean and neat.

F. C. Frank, retailer, Detroit, Mich. Retails 60 gallons per day. Milk cooled and kept in ice tank in horse barn.

E. Philippski, retailer, Detroit, Mich. Retails 100 gallons per day, two wagons. Milk supplied by Towar's Wayne Co. Creamery. Wagons kept clean and in sanitary condition.

P. boiler, 2 24 bottle cream testers. Cream is gathered from dairymen who use hand separators.

Forest Hill Skimming Station, Shepherd, Mich. C. H. Jones, owner and manager. Yearly receipts of milk, 800,000 pounds. Condition of buildings, good and sanitary; of apparatus, good and clean; of surroundings, good, with good drainage. Average test of milk, 4.7 per cent. Number of patrons, 114. Cream shipped to Shepherd. Outfit consists of 1 No. 1 separator, 1 300 gallon receiving vat, 1 300 gallon skim milk vat, 1 15 H. P. boiler.
