The Journal of yesterday was being read, when, on motion of Mr. Igoe, the further reading of the same was dispensed with, and it was ordered to stand approved.

The following communication, together with the papers referred to therein, was received from the Secretary of State and delivered to the Provisional Clerk to be turned over to the Speaker of the House when elected :
