The Senate resumed, as in committee of the whole, the consideration of the bill entitled “ An act for the relief of a company of the twentieth brigade of Virginia militia, commanded by captain Jonathan Walmsley.” Mr. Varnum was requested to take the chair, and no amendment having been proposed, the President resumed the chair, and the bill was reported to the House.
