Mr. President-The House of Representatives have passed a bill which originated in the Senate entitled "An act for the relief of lieutenant colonel William Lawrence, of the army of the United States, and of the officers, non-commissioned officers, and privates, composing the garrison of Fort Bowyer, in the year one thousand eight hundred and fourteen."

The Speaker of the House of Representatives having signed an enrolled bill, I am directed to bring it to the Senate for the signature of their President. And he withdrew.

The President signed the enrolled bill last reported to have been examined, and it was delivered to the committee to be laid before the President of the United States.
