Senate bill No. 46, An act requiring county treasurers in counties containing more than 50,000 people to make and publish monthly statements of the funds in the county treasury.

Senate bill No. 52, An act fixing the time for holding the regular terms of the district court in thirteenth judicial district, and amendatory of section 8, chapter 106, of the laws of 1895.

Senate bill No. 53, An act to absolutely exempt from garnishment, attachment, and all other process of procedure, the labor, wages, earnings, pay and salary of laborers, journeymen, mechanics, artisans, clerks, and any and all persons engaged in occupations of manual labor, service, work or toil, whether skilled or not, who are heads of families residing in the state of Kansas or elsewhere, and to repeal all laws and parts of laws in conflict therewith or repugnant thereto.

Senate bill No. 54. An act authorizing graduates of the school of law of the university of the state of Kansas to be admitted to practice law.

Senate bill No. 56, An act to repeal sections 8, 9, 10 and 11 of chapter 75 of the general statutes of 1889.

Senate bill No. 63, An act to enable townships and cities

to employ idle labor, to pay for the same in treasury notes, authorizing counties to issue said notes, and providing for their redemption by the state of Kansas, and for other purposes.

Senate bill No. 61, An act fixing the times for holding the regular terms of the district court in the thirteenth judicial district.

Assessment and Taxation:

Senate bill No. 6. An act to create the office of county assessor, and to provide for his election, and to prescribe his duties, compensation, liabilities, and repealing paragraphs 1729, 1730, 1731, 1732, of chapter 25, general statutes of 1889, and designating time and place for county assessors to meet.

Senate bill No. 8, An act to secure uniformity in the listing and taxation of bonds, mortgages, notes and other securities and evidences of indebtedness and to provide a penalty for the violation thereof.

Senate bill No. 9, An act to amend paragraph 6850, being chapter 107, article 3, and repealing the same, and relating to taxation.

Senate bill No. 36, An act to establish a state school tax. Senate bill No. 39, An act providing for the levying of a county tax for the support of the common schools of the counties, and providing for the distribution of the moneys raised by said county tax.

Senate bill No. 50, An act providing for the levying of a state tax for the support of the common schools of the state and providing for the distribution of the money raised by the said tax.

Agriculture and Irrigation:

Senate bill No. 11, An act to provide a lien upon the crops for the work and labor and machinery used in cutting, thrashing and preserving the same.

Senate bill No. 33, An act for the protection of birds and to prevent hunting upon certain lands and roads adjacent thereto, without the consent of the owner, providing at

what season certain game may be shot, and repealing chapter 167 of the laws of 1872, and 97 of the laws of 1873.

Senate bill No. 12, An act to amend section 7 of fees and salaries of the county treasurer, county clerk, county attorney, register of deeds, clerk of the district court, sheriff, probate judge and the county surveyor of Sumner county, and said section being chapter 149 of session laws of 1895.

Senate bill No. 29, an act regulating the fees and salaries and prescribing certain duties of the officers of Cherokee county, Kansas, and providing penalties for the violation of this act.

Senate bill No. 38, An act regulating the fees and salaries, prescribing certain duties of the county officers of Barber county, Kansas.

Roads and Bridges:

Senate bill No. 13, An act providing for the letting of contracts for the maintenance and repair of public highways, and creating a board of highway road commissioners and prescribing their duties.

Senate bill No. 20, An act requiring hedge fences, brush and weeds along public highways to be cut and trimmed.

Education and Educational Institutions:

Senate bill No. 15, An act for the establishment of a state normal school at the city of Wichita.

Senate bill No. 35, An act to provide the schools of Kansas with good and sufficient school books at the lowest prices at which such books can be furnished and to constitute the state board of education a school-book board for that purpose.

Senate bill No. 60, An act to provide for uniformity of text-books, maps, and charts, and to provide for printing and distributing the same.

Corporations:

Senate bill No. 22. An act providing for the levy upon and sale of corporate stock by judicial process.

Senate bill No. 23. An act to create and control building and loan associations.

Charities and Charitable Institutions:

Senate bill No. 28, An act relating to charities and corrections and providing penalties for the violation of the provisions of this act, and repealing sections 6150 to 6202 inclusive, and 6211 to 6224 inclusive, and sections 6479 to 6529 inclusive, and sections 6572 and 6533 of the General Statutes of 1889.

Elections:

Senate bill No. 27, An act to amend sections 14, 16 and 19 of chapter 78 of the laws of 1893, being an act to provide for the printing and distribution of ballots at the public expense, and for nomination of candidates for public officers, to regulate the manner of holding elections and to enforce secrecy of the ballot, and to provide for the punishment for the violation of this act, and repealing sections 14, 16 and 19 of said act.

Printing:

Senate bill No. 31, An act regulating the fees to be charged by publishers of newspapers for local notices and county printing.

Railroads:

Senate bill No. 37, An act concerning railroads, amending section 168, chapter 124, laws of 1883, being paragraph 1324, revised statutes of 1889.

Senate bill No. 58, An act fixing passenger rates on railroads in the state of Kansas, and preventing rebate or reduction in any form from the rates fixed by law, the issuance of passes except under conditions specified in this act, and repealing paragraphs 1324 and 1325 of the general statutes of 1889.

Manufactures and Industrial Pursuits:

Senate bill No. 43, An act providing for the marking and branding of articles manufactured by convict labor in the state of Kansas and providing penalties for the violation thereof.

Senate bill No. 55, An act entitled "An act to repeal an act for the encouragement of silk culture and for the dissemination thereof and for the education of reelers and to make appropriation therefor."
