This is an excellent book. I have enjoyed learning about my history from the point of view of an African American. I discovered this book by typing in George Washington Carver. I have been reading this book off an on for three years. It is shocking to read how we were treated by this country back in the day. How can human beings treat one another like that. It was an education just reading this book. I know more by this discovery than I received in school.
Good for research for Black History month in school.
