Mr. Branch moved a reconsideration of the vote by which the bill of the Senate (S. 464) to amend an act entitled "An act in addition to the acts prohibiting the slave trade" was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Pending which, Mr. Branch moved the previous question; which was seconded and the main question ordered, and under the operation thereof the motion to reconsider was agreed to.
