Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 10, Relating to newspapers, As amended by the House, The first amendment of the House was to strike out 25 and insert 50 copies. A vote being bad, The second amendment was, that no papers be paid for only on lists filed with the Committee on Ways and Means. A vote being had, Resolved, That the Governor be requested to lay before the Legislature the report of the committee appointed by the last Legislature to provide an act for the assessment and collection of taxes. Which was adopted. Resolved, That a Special Committee of five Senators be appointed upon cities of the second class with power to report from time to time. Which was adopted.
